Our Client is located in beautiful Libby, Montana, nestled in the Northwest corner of the state.
Our Client is a brand new state-of-the-art 25-bed, critical access hospital with 5,000 annual ED visits.
Our Client is seeking a full-time, hospital employed Emergency Physician.
Must be Board Certified/Eligible and have or obtain a MT medical license & DEA.
Schedule is twelve or twenty-four hours shifts; no call.
Malpractice insurance is paid by us. Our Client is a designated National Health Service Corporation site with loan repayment qualification and assistance with the Montana Rural Physicians Incentive Program (loan repayment) application.

Summary of Qualifications/Requirement for consideration:
QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be eligible to apply for clinical privileges in emergency medicine, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
1.????? Basic


a.?????? Full and unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of Montana.
b.????? Be current in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
OR Previously certified in ATLS and be current in CALS certification.
2.????? Initial Privileges:
a.?????? Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)- or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)- accredited residency in emergency medicine and:
????????????????????????????????????? i.????? Be certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
OR ??????????????????????????????????? ii.????? Must begin the certification process by applying for the certification and meeting ABEM or AOBEM credentialing requirements within one year of having privileges awarded, and actively pursue and obtain board certification according to the process and requirements outlined by the ABEM or AOBEM.
Applicant must become board certified within 5 years of having privileges awarded.
??????????????????? AND/OR
?b.????? Successful completion of a non-Emergency Medicine ACGME- or AOA- accredited training program with appropriate board certification.
Also be able to demonstrate that he or she has actively practiced for two (2) years in emergency medicine within the last three (3) years in an emergency department.
????????? AND
?c.?????? Required Current experience: Active practice in an emergency department (ED), reflective of the scope of privileges requested, in the past 12 months with an adequate volume of patients or successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship within the past 12 months.
